Specialty:

I believe everyone has value, even when life makes it hard to see. We all go through seasons where we feel disconnected from others, from purpose, or even from ourselves. My goal as a therapist is to help you find your way back to connection, meaning, and a sense of steadiness when things feel uncertain.

I work with clients facing a range of struggles, including mental-health concerns, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, loss of direction, and major life transitions. Together, we’ll explore what stands in the way of peace and fulfillment and build a path toward healing, balance, and a stronger sense of self.

What Sessions Are Like

As a therapist, I value being supportive, honest, and nonjudgmental. My approach combines warmth, humor, and compassion to create a space where clients feel truly safe. I never assume I am the expert in anyone else’s life. Instead, I see my role as a partner in your growth, offering perspective, encouragement, and tools to help you move forward. Whether it is finding laughter in the middle of difficulty or naming pain that has gone unspoken, I believe that healing is best done together and always with genuine care.

Specialty Areas

For more than a decade, I have provided in-home therapy for adolescents and families throughout Colorado, helping with a wide range of behavioral and relational issues that often arise during the teen years. I love working with families, but I also find great fulfillment in counseling individuals and couples.

As a long-time clinical supervisor for other therapists, I’ve gained valuable insight into the diverse needs of Colorado families. This experience allows me to draw from both structured, solution-focused interventions and deeper, insight-oriented approaches depending on each client’s needs. I strive to meet people where they are, offering practical support when structure is needed and compassion when emotions feel overwhelming.

My experience and training have allowed me to successfully address many therapeutic concerns, including:

  • Relationships

  • Anger management

  • Family conflict

  • Grief and loss

  • Communication skills

  • Trauma (Accelerated Resolution Therapy – ART)

  • Emotional understanding and regulation

  • Parenting and co-parenting

  • Generational patterns and influences

Personal Background

I am a Colorado native with a deep love for this beautiful state. Growing up in a military family meant spending my childhood outdoors with my brothers and caring for our many animals, including horses. I still find peace in nature and enjoy creating a home that reflects comfort, warmth, and happiness.

I have been happily married to my husband for many years, and together we have raised a blended family that now includes an adult stepson, a grandchild, and two younger boys who fill our lives with energy and joy. Parenting across different stages has taught me patience, perspective, and the importance of staying present. When I’m not with my family, I enjoy tending to my fish tanks, finding peace in their quiet rhythm, and playing billiards competitively both in Colorado and beyond.
