Bio:

I’m Krista Turner, a Colorado-rooted therapist committed to helping you slow down, reconnect, and live intentionally from the inside out. I grew up in the Denver area and spent my summers in Puerto Rico with my maternal family, surrounded by open skies, ocean beaches, and quiet mountain trails. Those early landscapes shaped more than my love for nature — they taught me what presence really means. Peace isn’t something we chase; it’s something we come home to.

That truth still guides how I live and how I work. My approach to therapy isn’t about rushing or “fixing.” It’s about remembering who you are beneath the coping, the chaos, and the conditioning. I help individuals and couples align their nervous system, values, and relationships so they can heal deeper and live fuller.

Why my path matters

Raised bilingual and bicultural, with a father in the military, I carried both a love of travel and a deep longing for stability. After my parents’ divorce, I experienced firsthand how family systems and unresolved trauma ripple through generations. Learning how to regulate my nervous system, understand generational patterns, and build a mindful, embodied life has been my own healing path — and it’s the heart of what I bring into every session. I practice what I teach, so you’ll know I’m in this with you.

What working with me looks like

In our sessions, you’ll find a safe, client-centered space to slow down, explore your inner world, and reconnect with your deeper self. I listen not just to your words but also to your body, your emotions, and the protective patterns that may have once served you but now hold you back. With compassion and curiosity — not urgency — we’ll co-create space for clarity, self-trust, and healing. This work isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about coming home to who you’ve always been.

With over 15 years of clinical experience, I specialize in the intersection of trauma, relationships, addiction recovery, and human development.
