Bio

I am married and have three beautiful kids, a boy, and two girls. This is important because I am dedicated to my family and faith before anything else. From this dedication I am better every day at what I do for a living, helping and teaching others.

I have spent almost my entire adult life working in the teaching and helping professions. I have worked as a Monitor of Visitation, a College Director and Youth Leader at a church, a Camp Counselor, a Psychiatric Social worker, a Psychology/Sociology Professor at CCU and MSU, Clinical Supervisor, and a Therapist in Private practice. Though I have had a great deal of work experience and continue growing in my education and training, the hard knocks and real-life experiences have been and will continue to be my greatest teachers.

Education

I earned my BA in Psychology at Biola University (2004) and a Master's of Science in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University (2007). Most recently I completed my training in EMDR, and I continue to learn and stay up to date on current trends in this profession of helping others.

Specialty

Marriage, Affairs, Divorce, Re-Marriage, Couples, Intimacy, Premarital, Faith, Self-Esteem, Adult ADHD/ADD, EMDR/Trauma.

What to Expect

My style of counseling is direct, collaborative, and usually accompanied by laughter.

Therapy is hard work, but who said it can't be fun?
