Somatic Psychotherapist | Trauma, Eating Disorders and Mind-Body Integration

Therapy can be a meaningful place to gently uncover and care for parts of yourself that may have been overlooked, protected, or set aside over time. I view healing as a nonlinear, deeply human process, and I believe it unfolds best within a relationship rooted in safety, curiosity, and compassion. Together, we can explore the themes of your story in a way that brings clarity, understanding, and renewed momentum for change. If you find yourself feeling stuck in familiar cycles or carrying patterns that no longer feel supportive, I offer a steady and affirming space to release what is ready to shift—while honoring the resilience that has sustained you along the way.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington, I approach therapy through a somatic and holistic lens. My work integrates attachment-based perspectives, depth-oriented care, and mind-body awareness to support greater connection, presence, and alignment within yourself. I specialize in trauma recovery, eating disorders, and somatic integration, inviting clients to develop a deeper relationship with their emotions, nervous system, and lived experiences.

I am deeply committed to helping people feel more at home in their bodies and more integrated in their stories. My approach considers family-of-origin influences, cultural context, relational dynamics, and the wisdom of resilience. I work with individuals who feel ready to engage in honest self-exploration and personal accountability, cultivating meaningful and sustainable change from the inside out.

Ashley earned her Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Missouri–Kansas City Conservatory of Dance. Her background in movement and embodied practice informs a creative and intuitive therapeutic presence, supporting clients in reconnecting with sensation, emotion, and inner knowing.

If you are ready for authentic, deep, and lasting change, I would be honored to connect with you. Together, we can co-create a path that respects your history, centers your values, and strengthens your capacity for growth.
