Life is an oxymoron; it's a beautiful mess. We often long for a safe place to be vulnerable and explore our complex feelings and relationships with raw curiosity. It is at this place where authenticity occurs, healing starts, and where shifts in our relationships can emerge. I believe learning to be present and sitting with our emotions creates a space to be curious about what may be getting in the way of a happier, fuller life.
What will sessions be like?
I work with individuals and families, from young adults to seniors. My goal for clients is to be heard and seen in a non-judgmental setting. We will set intentional goals for therapy; I'll meet you where you're at, and we'll begin to use gentle curiosity to explore challenges that impact your emotional state, self-esteem, and relationships. Whether it be healing within a relationshing, healing from loss or trauma, coping with everyday stressors or difficulty around transitions, I provide a safe space in which you can be your authentic self. With exploration and curiosity, we will set intentions for your therapy. Although I draw from several techniques, the focus of our sessions will be experiential and in the moment, driven by non-judgmental empathy and vulnerability. Self-expression and processing difficult emotions and experiences doesn't always have to be just talking. Healing can be made through journaling and expressive arts.

My roots are native to Montana but I have a strong connection to Colorado's mountains. I am a human with life stories, full of joy, sadness and curiosity. I've studied in the Czech Republic and New Zealand. I have achieved and learned in life but fully believe when we are present and curious, growth occurs. When I'm not working, I like to spend my time with family, my labradoodle and being outside whether it is in the mountains or my backyard...depending on the traffic. Backpacking is a passion of mine and I've recently taken up mountain biking!
