Life is uncontrollable and overwhelming. Sometimes we just need someone in our corner to process our experience and heal from past hurts, habits, and hangups. We can learn to identify our needs and strengths to accomplish our goals, improve interpersonal relationships, and live a fuller and more meaningful life. My specialties encompass the following:

  • Relationships and Conflict

  • Attachment

  • Guilt and Shame

  • Managing and Processing Emotions

  • Positive Image and Self Esteem

I am passionate about working with teenagers, young adults, and adults who are struggling with addictive behavior patterns, longing to learn healthy coping skills, and hoping to improve their boundaries and interpersonal relationships. Through utilizing the therapeutic relationship, we can collaborate to highlight negative thinking patterns, learn radical acceptance, and create accountability and growth through dialectic behavior activities, distress tolerance skills, art therapy, experiential, and attachment theory techniques.

What Sessions Will Look Like:
My therapy approach and style are catered towards your specific goals and needs. At the beginning of our therapeutic relationship, we will create short and long-term goals to help support what you need and want. We will engage in diverse therapy techniques to find the ones that help you find healing and growth. Ultimately, I hope to walk alongside you to instill hope and encouragement, I am not here to tell you about yourself or tell you what to do; you get to decide those things for yourself. We will work together as long as you need the support and feel like our work together is supporting your life and goals.

General Info
I have my master's degree in counseling from Regis University and have experience in many different counseling settings: inpatient, outpatient, residential, detox, crisis, and substance abuse. I believe that change is fostered through trust, acceptance, accountability, and learning to identify our truth.

In my free time, I enjoy doing Zumba, Zentangles, blackout poetry and hiking.
