Specialty

Have you ever wondered why you can’t seem to achieve the life goals you once dreamed of? Or why do you and your partner seem to fight over small issues? Do you find yourself angry, sad, or fed up with the thought of continuing the fight for happiness? The stresses of life combined with unique experiences can build up over time and eventually become too heavy to carry around; leading to strained relationships and a lack of inner peace.

As a clinical therapist who has worked with varying communities, I have developed a deep passion for working with people in all walks of life. Together, we will take a journey to better understand how some life experiences can impact the way you interact with others and how certain reactions are developed out of a need to protect yourself. I will challenge you to take your life back and learn how to navigate intense emotions in a healthy way, so your reactions do not block you from stability and happiness.

In a typical session

I am a firm believer that a healthy therapeutic relationship fosters and encourages the safe environment needed to alter unhealthy behaviors or thought processes. With that said, I believe that creating that relationship begins with getting to know each other and building a safe and cultivating bond. I try to use laughter, humor, and love in all relationships in my life, including therapeutic relationships. As we build our trusting relationship, I want to create a semi-structured space that allows the both of us to bounce therapeutic ideas off each other. I will provide a safe space to process while gently pointing out and labeling when continued themes and patterns arise in your life. We are all human, expressing myself and showing my clients that I too am human, helps create the trust needed in our work.
